Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings

I’m sad to say that that time of year has come again. The time of year when by the time I’ve got dinner on the table it’s far too dark to even think about taking pictures. Those ‘natural’ daylight lamps you can buy? Really not a fan. (Who the heck decided alien-blue was natural daylight color, anyway?!)

So this is probably the last savory post you’ll see in a while. But not to worry, because Christmas is just around the corner, so be prepared to be bombarded with sweet desserts in the shape of snowmen covered in sugar ‘snow’ with cute Oreo buttons and I-haven’t-got-it-figured-out-yet noses and I’m so excited Christmas is almost here!!

And breathe. The Christmas posts start from next week – not on Monday though, because I can never start anything on a Monday. So let’s say Tuesday. Wednesday? We’ll see. Anyway. Chicken wings! We very rarely eat chicken wings at home because I’m not a fan of cuts of meat that are more bone than meat – I’m looking at you Mr Lamb Chop – I haven’t got the time for you. But I found some that were quite meaty at the store and snapped them up.

I love sweet sauces with chicken and this has become one of my ultimate favorites. It’s so simple to throw together and only takes a few ingredients that you probably already have at home anyway. I’m warning you though – it’s super sticky, so you might want to have a finger bowl and a napkin nearby when serving.
