I’m so glad I can finally tell you this. It’s been a long time coming, but at last I can 100% say that I will soon be releasing a cocktail book! The whole thing has been written up, all the recipes tested and all the photos taken. I’ve just got a few little tweaks to make before it’s published and ready to share with the world!
I hate red wine. I’ve tried loads of different types – super-cheap bottles which will get you change out of a €2 coin and mega-pricey bottles which you’ll have to save up to buy. And I’ve hated all of them. The only way I’ll ever drink a glass of wine is when it’s been transformed from a sharp, vinegary mess into a wonderfully fruity sangria recipe like this one.
This is my all-time favourite fruity sangria recipe which I developed what seems like forever ago when My Official Treat Taster’s sister was staying with us whilst she was on holiday. We were in the mood for a red wine sangria – ideally something like this delicious frozen sangria – but we didn’t have any red wine to hand. We only had cheap cava.
It’s Friday and I’ve been without a kitchen for two weeks, during which every spare second of my life has been spent deconstucting the old kitchen and trying to suss out IKEA instructions for a flat-pack kitchen which are way more difficult to follow than IKEA lead us to believe. So I deserve a cocktail, right? But not just any cocktail, an amazing vodka grapefruit cocktail!
Deliciously sweet and wonderfully refreshing, this strawberry vodka slush is the best way in the world to say TGIF! After a long, hard week at work (or at home if you’re a suffering stay-at-home parent!) you deserve something icy, yummy and alcoholic to cool you off and chill you out. Especially during the boiling hot summer months when the sky-high temperatures threaten to burst your thermometer.
