I love summer. And watermelon. And mojitos. But mostly mojitos. If you visit Pink Recipe Box often, you’ll know that I love making seasonal drink recipes and this fresh watermelon mojito is one of my latest summer cocktails. Mint, lime, watermelon and white rum – what’s not to love? We went out last night for a few drinks – on a school night, I know! A few turned into many and I’m more than a little tender this morning. But since this cocktail recipe is so delicious, I just couldn’t hold off on sharing this drink with you any longer!
So it’s finally happening – we’re getting a new kitchen! Well at least I think we are. Sort of. I’m so fed up of opening cupboards and having jars of spices jump out at me, of having to clean the mould behind the sink where the water meets the wood and of having to prep food on the floor because there isn’t enough counter space. But all this will be over soon!
It’s Friday and I need a drink. Care to join me? Instead of a yay, TGIF! drink, this is going to me more of a GRR, really?! drink. Hope you don’t mind. A drink’s a drink, right? When it’s as amazing, frosty and delicious as this frozen daiquiri recipe it is!
I’ve started to notice something. You can tell how eager I am to drink a cocktail by how few photos there are of it in the blog post. The more photos I have to take and style = the longer it’s going to be until I get to drink the cocktail. Therefore if I only take a couple of photos, I get to drink the cocktail soon. I never knew I could unconsciously reveal so much about myself in my photography!
Let the margarita recipes continue! Or the beergaritas. They’re pretty much the same thing. Except they’re not. Margaritas are more concentrated and pack more of an alcoholic punch. Beergaritas, on the other hand, are more refreshing and less alcohol dense. Margaritas = downed at a bar after midnight. Beergaritas = sipped by the pool in the sun.
