You know my favourite thing about being a blogger? The crazy amount of stuff I learn. I knew I wanted to write about sleep (another of my favourite things!) today, so I was reading up about it online, looking for some inspiration as to what I could write about. I came across loads of articles claiming that sleeping on your left side is better than sleeping on your right. And you know what, silly as it might sound, it’s true! In fact, not only is sleeping on your left side better than sleeping on your right, but it’s better than sleeping on your back or your stomach, too!
No matter how hard you try and stick to a calorie-strict diet, sometimes you just want to treat yourself to a sweet snack or dessert. But instead of grabbing a donut or raiding the vending machine the next time your sweet tooth won’t let it go, opt for one of these healthy desserts instead. Each of these healthy dessert recipes works out at 100 calories (or less!) per portion, so you can still treat yourself to something you fancy without going way over your daily limit of calories and ruining all your hard work!
If you’ve ever tried to lose weight before, you’ll have been told hundreds of times how important it is to weigh yourself daily. Friends, family, fitness coaches and health bloggers will tell you that in order to lose weight, you need to step on the scales every morning to see how your doing. But you know what? The number on the scale isn’t everything when it comes to weight loss.
It’s something we’ve all heard before – if you want beautiful youthful skin, thick glossy hair and strong long nails, you need to take vitamin E supplements. But do these small pills really benefit you and your body? Or do they actually do you more harm than good? I’ve done all the research and took a course of vitamin E supplement pills myself to see if my skin, hair and nails really did improve – and I think you’ll be surprised with the results I got!
You know that saying, “You should never go to bed mad” which means that when you have an argument with your spouse you should argue it out and come to a conclusion? Wrong, wrong, wrong! More often than not, when I have an argument with my boyfriend – as in, a big full-on argument about something important (usually our relationship), not a tiny little row about what flavour frozen yoghurt we should order – I almost always go to bed before any conclusion has been reached. And you know what? I think it’s one of the reasons we’re as strong as we are.
