It’s Saturday and I’m back with a brand new post makeover! Today’s post which is getting a facelift is the recipe for these Sweet & Spicy Baked Carrot Fries. Even if you’re not a veggie lover, I bet you’ll fall head over heels for these!
Whilst My Official Treat Taster won’t touch them (or anything else good for him, for that matter) I love love LOVE these Sweet & Spicy Baked Carrot Fries. I like them so much that I sometimes make a batch for myself instead of regular potato fries – that’s how great they are.
Just like the last post makeover, the improvements I made to this post are pretty basic but were definitely needed. I tidied up the text a little bit (got to get rid of all that horrible background mess that got carried over when I moved from Blogger to WordPress!) put the recipe into a recipe card and updated the photos. Now you can see the carrot fries in all their true glory!
Just like the last post makeover (can you see a pattern here?) I didn’t change the recipe either because I think it’s perfect. The herbs and spices provide the ideal blend of sweet and spicy so you’re not overwhelmed with sugar or lunging for a glass of water after your first bite.
Even if you’re not a lover of carrots, I totally recommend you give these a try. These Sweet & Spicy Baked Carrot Fries are a world away from the boiled sliced carrots you were probably force-fed when you were a child which led you to hating them for life.
If you’ve tried carrot fries before, then I still totally suggest that you try the recipe because you haven’t tried MYYYY carrot fries! If you have tried them and hated every single bite, then I’ll stop pushing and direct you over to this cake recipe page – maybe it’s more your thing.
So whether you’re eager to try these fries right away or just want to point at the screen and go “EWWWWW” click on over to the Sweet & Spicy Baked Carrot Fries recipe page right away!
Here are the link parties I link up to. Come and party with me!
