Healthy Chocolate Fudge Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup spinach leaves

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, until everything is broken up and combined.
  • Taste and add honey, simple syrup or an alternative sweetener, if necessary, before serving.

Notes

I think this smoothie is sweet enough on its own, but if you've got a serious sweet tooth, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of honey, simple syrup or another type of liquid sweetener into the blender along with the other ingredients, if you like.
