Throw all the ingredients (except the chocolate chips, if you're using them) into a food processor and blend until you have a smooth, even mixture. This can take up to 5 minutes.
You'll need to stop the processor and scrape the insides down with a spatula every now and then to make sure everything gets mixed together.
When smooth, stir the chocolate chips in with a spoon if you're using them.
Scoop the brownie batter into an air-tight container and store in the fridge.
