It’s not a great place for beginners to start. If you’re a total yoga newbie, I recommend you try the 30 Day Yoga Challenge for Beginners first. The beginners challenge takes everything at a much slower, more relaxed pace and teaches you each of the yoga poses separately. This yoga for weight loss video, on the other hand, assumes you’re already pretty familiar with yoga and goes through the poses pretty fast.
If you have been to a few yoga classes or have done a few videos at home, I still recommend you take some time to watch the whole video through and then give it a try. Otherwise you could find yourself in a body knot on your yoga mat when you should be in a perfect vinyasa!
But don’t let the fast pace of the video put you off. You move through the poses pretty quickly because that’s the best way to lose weight with yoga. Each of the mini flows is repeated several times, so you’ll easily get the hang of it. Especially if you do the video on a regular basis.
